It is the purpose of the College Readiness Program to serve a population that has not been afforded the opportunity to aspire to education. It is the intent of the College Readiness Program to identify, recruit, and accept the disadvantaged population; disadvantaged financially, socially, culturally, and academically. The College Readiness Program serves as a tool by offering a better vehicle to improving future outlook. In addition, to advance the participants standing in their community, promote having a position, not just a job, and encourage a future that provides upward mobility.
